Sitting listening to Feeder, rediscovering how good they really are and how much they rock!

Sat listening to my Feeder playlist on Windows Media player, it's pretty rocking I tell you. Had a discussion today about blogging and it's point. Is it to inform, is it to blow off steam, is it to talk about stuff that you never would etc. It was really quite interesting and it challenged me to think - "why do I blog?". Sitting now with blissful tune that is buck rodgers playing, I think I'm the kind of person that blogs to inform. To say what's happening. I do think other's blog to let off and to get stuff out, I also think some people blog to say stuff that otherwise might stay bottled up. Hey I blog cause I like it - I like looking back at what I did and my horrific grammer and spelling (!), there's really nothing quite like it!

Listening to Insomnia now (which earlier today I was dancing to funnily enough) recollecting on a day that has been great (and not nearly quite as cold!). This morning I had the brainwave to make little boxes for Supergang (5-7 year olds) which we would fill with peppermint creams that we can make next week. Great idea, but a lot of work for me (and Ruth & David who I got to help)! The boxes had to be made for the kids to decorate so I had a day of making boxes - yeah that's youthwork is all about! They did appreciate it tonight which was really good though! Suupergang generally tonight was a grand affair. Everything just seemed to fit and work, and the rendition of "Great Big God" at the end was stormin! Also made a monolgue/music mix of Mary and how she obeyed God (mixed to Noel) with Helen today, which sounds really good. Might upload a dance remix(!).

Got a relaxed weekend coming up. The Egglestons are going away so it gives me a chance to chill with the whole place to myself. Got some cooking I'm going to do (like a practice run of the peppermint creams and some mince pies - just because I've never made them before), also want to sing and dance around - something that would usually be more than slightly disturbing for everyone else. Anyway the bed is calling out to me telling me to get an early night and my media player is telling me that "She's my anthmn" - useful that! God Bless...
