What a great line just wish I'd thought of it myself - those young people at Emmanuel are geniuses! (Image: freeimages.co.uk) Well I hope none of you are suffering from chocolate hangovers. I still have to touch my egg after having a very large Easter day roast and shed loads of pizza after the evening service at Emmanuel. Last nights evening service was fantastic, lots of stuff going on and the young people from the cell groups leading! The DVD rap at the start (including the aformentioned genius line) set up a great service that included another spot on talk from Chris Hodder (Our theology cannot stop at the cross, it must include the ressurection!), and a spot of extreme pegging. One particularly shocking statistic mentioned by Chris Hodder was that if a massive worldwide rally was held and 1,000 people came to christ every day it would take around 10,000 years for the world's population to come to Christ. However if each Christian was to bring one person to Christ and to disciple them to do the same each year it would take 35 years! Bit of a challenge really (hence the extreme pegging thing!). After the service there was a chance for chilling out which was super grand. It was great to catch up with people and to beat the Loughborough Lib Dems candidate Graeme Smith on the dance mats! Graeme was one of the youth workers for our church a couple of years ago and is the first person I've ever met who's standing to be an MP and doesn't just lie at you! As you may know I'm quite into politics though I don't really have a party allegience, however knowing Graeme and seeing his enthusiasm and what he's doing I know where my vote will be going! It's been good catching up with all sorts of people! Hello to you all! Got lots of cool stuff happening this week - meeting up with Sim this afternoon, at the Taylors tommorrow and Drama Team meal on Thursday (just to mention a few highlights!). Also continuing to organise stuff for the Brix. Spoke to Jeremy Kimber and Dave Morris yesterday who are coming to perform a classical music concert as part of the Big Brix Bash. What they are looking at doing is so exciting and really thrills me! Just got to start sorting out all the promotional stuff for them and sort out tickets (which though free are still to be created). Very exciting! I'm meant to be on holiday though so I might go and have a nice cup of tea, chomp on a bit of my Easter Egg, Listen to some music, and then get on with some website stuff. Have a great day yourselves. God Bless...

that might just b the coolest line i have eva heard! nice 1! hope all is well wif u Andy sees u soon!!!
I'm betting the young people who wrote that were still eggspecting (sic - see I can do it too) chocolate eggs rather than an omlete a day for the rest of their little lives! What's extreme pegging - explain please. Cya Carrie ;0
Hey, I was taking party in that service. My cell also made pegs with lines like "jesus is alive 2005", and on the back put "pass the peg". We also made a video of extreme pegging, and what ive heard it was a great success.
