![]() click here to return to the index Wednesday, May 18, 2005![]() Oh no I need another cup of tea! How can I write a post without the golden liquid of decafness? Well it's another day, and another fine day at that, the weather has really been quite lovely - it seems a crime that I have to sit upstairs in my ivory tower sorting all sorts of bits and bobs out! I have spent this morning waiting for the post with great expectation - my belief that a package of excitment would come through the door. The clocked ticked, the cat mieowed, the monster in the closet with three heads let out a yawn, and then footsteps. Leaving the salesperson bashing stick by the door, I lept out (much to the postman's suprise) ready to recieve the gift of joy. Alas only two bills for others in the house - pants. It'd better come soon I tell you, otherwise the whole thing could send me quite mad... Have now gone into proper internet packages after found bandwidth and stuff was getting a bit short and because I wanted to experiment with features such as SQL and add a shop! So I now have a 2.5GB package with 20GB of transfer as well as 300 sub-domains and more! I am quite excited! The shop should be open soon, though not all content will be put onto the new host until August - there is far too much stuff I have to do in the meantime. TheBrix (www.the-brix.co.uk & www.the-brix.org.uk) is now taking over my life! I'm excited and very nervous at the same time. Lots to be done, mainly talking to people - which means being socialable - ooooooh! Had a couple of distractions in the last week - went to Ultimate Events at Alton Towers which was incredible, 29th Chapter are the best English rap group I've ever seen (up there with American big boys LA Symp, Mars Ill and Grits), they were also a really nice group of guys and do school tour type things. Supervision rocked as they usually do. Superchic(k) were incredible, on top form and despite some technical problems (which again plighted this event) they managed to get the crowd going some! Then the dissapointment - Rock&Roll Worship Circus. The words 'Crowd-Participation' and 'do some' come to mind. They were quite droll! The last band on however got the party well and truely kicking - Newsboys. Never in all my years at Ultimate Events have I seen such an amazing performance. Blessed be your name with moshing and singing was incredible, and Pete Furler had the crowd eating out of the palm of his hand. The music was just so full of God, and I came away from it so encourage and yet so heavily challenged. Challenged that this is my time, I'm here and I've been given stuff by God to do. Challenged that I shouldn't expect the 'ordinary' from a God that's so extrodinary. Challenged that as a church we keep trying not to let God out the bag because we're scared He might offend someone. When you listen to a personal stero for a while you get used to the sound level and what once sounded loud no longer does. So what do you do turn up the volume! I belive it's time for us to crank up the volume, it's time for us to proclaim, time for us to shout, time for us to leave our comfort zones, time for us to experience what we truely were created for. There is only one way for that to happen - to live with the spirit in us, to listen for the voice and follow the word. God Bless...

Amen brother! Nice website package, that must have cost a bit! Spose with all your sites it should work out ok in the end. What are you going to put in the shop? Could I really soon own a mug with your beautiful visage upon it? Hope you continue to have days of fine waether and good times!

Newsboys in concert are awesome! By far the best live show I've ever seen. I've seen them twice and they rocked out both times.
It was great to see you last night, looking forward to Monday. See ya later princess emma
how loud does the volume need to be? i'm not good with loud noises, i start to get headaches and it affects me bones
- an old lady who thinks we should all be very quiet. someone stop that noisy mouse.
There was some funny moments in Eurovision tho, Granny hit your drum was an incredible song (incredible that it made it to the final - what did the entries that didn't make it sound like?!) and the Norway rock song was wettingly funny. RDA
