![]() click here to return to the index Tuesday, August 30, 2005Back from Soul Survivor I now find myself in the small town of Dawlish the opposite side of Exmouth where for the next year at least I shall be continuing to be in youth work. My new job is very exciting - working in Dawlish Community College, for St.Gregory's Church and running the Soul Survivor in Exeter events - which should just about keep me on my toes! Soul Survivor was a good laugh. On the first week I went with the Dawlish group and we had a real laugh, the second week I was there with the Gordan family (and also saw the guys from Lufbra - hiya!). Also in the past few weeks I attened Abi & David's wedding which was bi-lingual (kinda like being at Eurovision) and have stayed at various houses on sofas, futons, floors and camp beds! My new digs in Dawlish should be avalible from the 1st October - until then is a bit of a question mark at the moment, and I also hope to set my office up at the church at some point over the next few days (it has broadband - hurrah!). Apart from that I enjoyed a game of mini-golf with Dave, Pete and Mike yesterday - came a respectable 2nd only 2 shots off the lead! I have also been watching wacky races on DVD which is grand! Anyhow, I'm going to try and nip into town and take some photos while it's sunny before this meeting! Have a great day doing whatever and make sure to leave a comment. God bless...

Oooh you wacky boy! Wacky races is amazing! I didn't even know it was on DVD... may have to venture out! Glad things seem to be going ok, how does Dawlish compare with Exmouth?
I also love wackey races - and am not too impartial to a game of mini golf! Been up to any designing lately. Tried to send you an e-mail but guessing you're either snowed or ignoring me ;0 get back in touch soon tho. Leighton
Haven't really got the e-mail up and running yet - I'm waiting for the broadband password from our church warden! I have indeed been doing some designing recently and have really been enjoying it too! Dawlish is a bit more boring at the mo than Exmouth! The bakeries are a lot finer, though I'm still waiting to see if anyone my age exists in the town! I would go and get Wacky Races - virgin have it as part of their 5 dvd's for £30 offer! Anyhow work to do, thanks for your comments, God Bless...
