I'm about to move house - isn't that jolly exciting.

Very, very quick post today, due to the fact that I'm about to move to a new humble abode (though this one will be on my own and a lot further away from the town centre). My new residence is closer to church (though it does invovle a walk up the less than pleasant 'Mount Pleasant Road'). I've packed everything, just put all my documents onto my 'secure online disc' and now I'm just waiting for Jolly Judy to turn up with her car so I can fill it with all my junk. Have a really good day, God Bless...

Just a quick post because I'm off to be attacked by brambles and holly bushes!

Very quick post to let you know that I'm feeling a lot better (though very blocked up and headachey!) and am working through whatever I seem to have. Life has just got very busy, been helping people out with all sorts of stuff doing visits to some members of our church and it's all been quite grand. Had the Church meeting for the brix last night which has been approved so I'm in a great mood this morning - means that I can get on with so much and feel safe in the knowledge that the church is behind what I'm doing! Also organising the trip to Alton Towers which looks set to be a great event. All sorts of stuff to do, I probably should get going. Will try and post if I can grab the chance! God Bless...

Feeling groggy, like my heads been cut in half and stuck back the wrong way round!

I feel rather poorly this morning though not quite as bad as last night (when I though I might have stopped breathing - not a very nice feeling). Have got a cold/flu type thing which is making me feel rather mining and I'm sure is making me grumpy (raahh!). Watching Have I Got News For You - Best Of The Guest Presenters which is making me feel a bit jollier (the Bruce Forsyth and Boris Johnson episodes are incredible!).

Been shockingly busy for someone who is feeling under the weather, on Friday night we had the Exmouth ICE Team tenth celebration meal, which was quite a good laugh (meeting up with team members old and new). Sunday school on Sunday was based around the Lord's Prayer with activities and songs for each line of the prayer so we could look deeper into it. This is all getting ready for the next alternative service in March. Yesterday I had a meeting for the Brix with the deacons which seemed to go very well but I hope to hear over the next couple of days their decision to fully back the project (please!). This evening I've got Elevate and I've also got to begin to sort out rotas and young people sign ups plus fundraising stuff for the project (hurrah!). That should keep me out of trouble.

The winner of the Best Blog Picture January 2005 was the Cute Kittens. You can now download this as a desktop wallpaper in the Downloads Section. Have a great day. God Bless...

The best of Morecambe and Wise on DVD, what a great thing to buy with the paper!

Hello, firstly thanks to all of you who have voted so far for the Best Blog Picture of the Month. So far I've had over 100 votes! If you haven't voted yetclick here to do so! Thank you also for all your comments, I love reading and replying to them all!

Had a great day yesterday, rocking around to Feeder, getting lots of work done and watching iRobot last night at Elevate. Been planning the Elevate and Discovery weekend away to Loughborough and Alton Towers. We're going from the 13th-15th May and we're going to the Ultimate Event Concert on the Saturday evening too (featuring Superchic(k), Rock and Roll Worship Circus, Newsboys and Supervision!). Is all very exciting!

Today I've got some more planning stuff to be getting on with as well as Housegroup this evening where we are doing a 'soaking' evening (like a musical meditation). About to go and have a cup of tea with newly bought white granulated sugar, having discovered that light brown and dark brown sugar taste quite repulsive in me brew! Have a great day, God Bless...

My toes are cold - perhaps I should put some socks on!!

What a joyous day! The sun is shining I have already been swimming - a whole 30 lengths! - and I'm getting going with my list of work that is sat by my side (hurrah!). Had a really good day yesterday as well, went to Exeter which was really grand (even the train breaking down on the way in!) bought my Feeder - Pushing The Senses [Limited Edition] [CD+DVD], which is one of the greatest purchases I have ever made. I love every track on the album and the more I listen to it the more I love them! It's super-fantastic and I would go as far to say that it's the Best British Indie Rock album ever! Wahoo! And the DVD is quite incredible as well, the four 'depit sessions' are an amazing addition and well worth the extra couple of quid in themselves (even better then when you add this with a documentry on the album, the video diary for tumble and fall, and a 5.1 mix of Victoria (the melodic b-side to tumble and fall) with lyrics screen). So go and buy it! I'm even more excitied about April 2nd now!

Anyway, coming up today I have got some letters/promotional material, a proposal, and a bible study to write; as well as some lunch to eat, Elevate this evening and some prayer room time. I'm also meeting up with Jo this afternoon in the Powder Monkey and anything else could happen at any point during the day (I love living such a varied and fun life)! Should probably go and do some of this stuff - whilst listening to Pushing the senses of course! God Bless...
