It's a sunny day in Dawlish and I'm sat inside waiting to have a meeting! Oh well, I guess I must be a youth worker once again!

Back from Soul Survivor I now find myself in the small town of Dawlish the opposite side of Exmouth where for the next year at least I shall be continuing to be in youth work. My new job is very exciting - working in Dawlish Community College, for St.Gregory's Church and running the Soul Survivor in Exeter events - which should just about keep me on my toes!

Soul Survivor was a good laugh. On the first week I went with the Dawlish group and we had a real laugh, the second week I was there with the Gordan family (and also saw the guys from Lufbra - hiya!). Also in the past few weeks I attened Abi & David's wedding which was bi-lingual (kinda like being at Eurovision) and have stayed at various houses on sofas, futons, floors and camp beds!

My new digs in Dawlish should be avalible from the 1st October - until then is a bit of a question mark at the moment, and I also hope to set my office up at the church at some point over the next few days (it has broadband - hurrah!). Apart from that I enjoyed a game of mini-golf with Dave, Pete and Mike yesterday - came a respectable 2nd only 2 shots off the lead! I have also been watching wacky races on DVD which is grand!

Anyhow, I'm going to try and nip into town and take some photos while it's sunny before this meeting! Have a great day doing whatever and make sure to leave a comment. God bless...

My last post before I go on Soul Survivor!

This will be my last post for the next couple of weeks because I am going away to work at Soul Survivor as part of my new job as Soul Survivor Exeter Blokey! I went along to Dawlish yesterday for the first time which was really lovely, the family service in the morning was just grand - a talk, some worship and communion all in half an hour was just what was called for (especially after I was offered to give my life to Jesus by a gentleman on the train journey on the way to church!).

I am now looking forward to getting stuck into work and Dawlish - they have black swans that are apparently NOT ducks which have been painted! - the Young people seemed really nice and some of them even had a good taste in music (hurrah!). Today I bought the emergency rations for Soul Survivor (just in case the plethora of food avalible to me doesn't reach the high standards I've come to expect) including Strawberry Sensation Pop Tarts, Choctastic Delight Pop Tarts and Cookies & Cream Pop Tarts - I shall be having a sugar-fuelled week then!

Any how hope you're having a lovely holiday whatever you're up to (tell me by using the comments!) and that life is just fantabulous. God Bless...

My longest break in blogging ever - but I have a good excuse - really!

I don't think I have ever felt quite so shattered in my whole entire life. As if a month of running a tweleve hour a day radio station with 100 young people wasn't enough I decided to organise a weekend of events to finish it off - which was awesome but as you've probably guessed not really very 'sleep-inspiring'!

A lot has happened in the past month. God has been really incredible. The radio station and weekend were incredible. Over 100 young people invovled, more than 25,000 hits on the website, listeners from 13 countries, £3500 raised and still more to count! I am now tying up all the loose ends here in Exmouth ready for going to Dawlish and my new work over there with St. Gregorys and Soul Survivor Exeter. I am very excited about starting - on Sunday there is a service followed by lunch at the church where I shall meet lots of people, which'll be cool! As well as getting ready to change job and move house, Soul Survivor is also here which I'll be attending within my new role as Soul Survivor Exeter Blokey (wouldn't that be a great job title!).

I'm looking forward to putting a bit of time into the ol' website here to. I feel as though I neglected it for a month and a half or so. I really like the design, just want to drop some of the content, add some more random stuff (like photos and a shop) and do portfolio of some of my best work (design, ideas, sites, media etc.). But hey I'll probably never get time to do that! So I'm back - you guys get back as well and let's get this thing going once more! God Bless...
